I recommend it to all and everyone. It'd a musical genre that spawned from London's electronic underground scene. Its all about slow rhythems and especially bass. Lots, and lots, of bass. There isnt really a defined source where it comes from, it takes from all kind of music. from metal to raggae to techno to drum and bass to house and back again, theres something in there for everyone. As long as its got a slow bpm (beats per minute, pace) and a big, big subbass. Some of my personal favorites: www.myspace.com/djdistancedub :: distance, rock influences. www.myspace.com/vexd :: vex'd, breakcore and ambient influences www.myspace.com/ruskonfire :: Rukso, some ska in there www.myspace.com/skreamuk :: Skream, probubly the biggest name at the moment, party tracks. www.myspace.com/burialuk :: Burial, verry trip-hop-ish, reminds me of massive attack. If you like the sound, just click around myspace and explore.

I like it - it's quite dream like and haunting at the same time. To me it's a step forward from the Grime scene which is starting to get pretty stagnant.
Rukso gets biggest kudos for using the <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catchphrase_%28game_show%29"> Catch-Phrase</A> sample.
